Trinh Tran Phuong Tuan, commonly known by his stage name Jack, and Vu Cat Tuong were named the Favourite Male and Female Singers, respectively, while Phuong Anh was awarded the ‘Favourite Country Singer’ title. The ‘Favourite Band’ prize went to Da LAB. Vo Minh Lam and Tu Suong won the ‘Favourite Male Stage Artist’ and ‘Favourite Female Stage Artist’ awards, respectively. Huynh Lap was acknowledged as ‘Best Comedy Actor’. Young artists Nhan Phuc Vinh and Van Phuong earned prizes for the category of ‘Favourite Actor and Actress’. Ngo Kien Huy was honoured as the ‘Favourite Master of Ceremonies’ (MC). The ‘For the Sake of Community’ awards were presented to Hoai Linh and Dai Nghia. Previously, on January 12, the organising board announced the winners of three categories, including ‘Favourite Stage Play’, ‘Favourite Movie’, and ‘Favourite TV programme’. The nominations for the award winners were submitted between September 15 and November 11, 2020, and the voting took place from December 8, 2020, to January 6, 2021, on to the website: maivang.nld.com.vn. The Awards have been held annually by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper since 1995 to honour individuals and groups of artists who have made significant contributions to the country’s culture and the arts of the year.
