The Vietnam National University – Hanoi has three ranked fields, namely: engineering, computer science and physical science. In particular, the field of computer science of Vietnam National University – Hanoi was evaluated by THE Magazine for the first time, ranked in the 501-600 group and the first position in three Vietnamese university in the ranking. Meanwhile, the field of physical science of Vietnam National University – Hanoi was placed in the 601-800 group; the field of engineering was ranked in the 401-500 group. The Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City has five fields that have been evaluated, including computer science (ranked in the 601-800 group); engineering (in the 601-800 group), physical sciences (in the 801-1,000 group), life sciences (in the 601-800 group) and economic business (in the 601-800 group). The Hanoi University of Science and Technology has three ranked fields, including: Computer science (ranked in the 601-800 group), engineering (in the 501-600 group), physical sciences (in the 801-1,000 group). Times Higher Education is a magazine based in the UK, specializing in content related to higher education. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021 include more than 1,500 universities from across 93 countries and regions, making them the largest and most diverse university rankings to date. The table is based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
