The ‘Young Intellectuals for Education Innovation” programme was launched in Hanoi on April 28 with the aim of encouraging young people and intellectuals’ initiatives fostering the country’s education and training reform.
The event is being jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training, Thien Long Group, and Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper.
The 2021-2026 programme seeks projects and initiatives across the three categories of reforming teaching and studying methods; developing tools used for teaching, study and research; and research into educational science.
Candidates should send their entries to trithuctrevigiaoduc@gmail.com from May 1 to September 30.
After the qualification round, as many as 10 projects will receive funding and consultation for completion so that they can be put into practice.
The top five projects will be honoured at an awards ceremony scheduled for April 9, 2022.
First held in 2016, the programme has so far received nearly 2,700 projects, many of which have benefited learners and teachers nationwide.
