Outstanding youth union officials were granted the 2021 Ly Tu Trong Awards at an exchange programme held in the northern province of Vinh Phuc on March 22, on the occasion of the 90th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU). |
The event was attended by former Politburo member and President Nguyen Minh Triet; and Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Secretariat Vo Van Thuong. At the exchange programme, the delegates reviewed the formation and development of the Ho Chi Minh Communist youth organisations over the past 90 years, especially the great contributions made by the youth union officials and members to the cause of national construction and defence. On the occasion, the HCYU Central Committee presented the 2021 Ly Tu Trong Awards to 98 outstanding youth union officials who have made great contributions to the performance of youth unions and the movements of children and teenagers. * On the same day, a delegation of promising young faces offered incense to pay tribute to the country’s ancestors at the Hung Kings Temple historical site in the northern province of Phu Tho.
