Among 1,124 infections confirmed to date, 691 cases were locally transmitted. Since July 25, there have been 551 new infection cases in 15 cities and provinces, including 389 in Da Nang, 96 in Quang Nam, 16 in Hai Duong, 11 in Hanoi, eight in Ho Chi Minh City, seven in Quang Tri, six in Bac Giang, five in Quang Ngai, four in Lang Son, three in Dak Lak, two in Dong Nai, one in Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Thanh Hoa and Khanh Hoa each. Vietnam has gone through 44 consecutive days without infections in the community. The same day, Patient 411 was given the all-clear from the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, raising the total number of recovered cases to 1,031. Among patients under treatment at medical establishments across the country, seven tested negative for the virus once, four others twice and 12 thrice. Currently, there is no COVID-19 patient in critical conditions, while 35 deaths related to the disease have been reported to date, including 31 in Da Nang, three in Quang Nam and one in Quang Tri. As many as 13,658 people who had close contact with COVID-19 patients or entered Vietnam from pandemic-hit areas are under quarantine, 155 of them are in hospitals, 12,320 in other establishments and 1,183 at home.
