The event is organised annually by the Hanoi Municipal Department of Industry and Trade to serve as a venue for handicraft businesses and makers from at home and abroad to promote their products and expand their market while promoting connectivity between domestic and foreign firms in the industry.
This year’s event is being held in line with regulations on safe and flexible adaptation to COVID-19 and all participating businesses can advertise their booths on the internet to boost online trade activities.
Over its nine editions, Hanoi Gift Show has not only become an established handicraft fair in Vietnam but also an international event with positive impact on the consumption and export of handicraft products.
It has welcomed nearly 70,000 visitors, with more than 10,000 memorandums of understanding, cooperation agreements, and contracts worth over 50 million USD having been signed.
At the opening ceremony, the organising board also awarded prizes to the winners of the Hanoi Handicraft Product Design Contest 2021.
