Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An on November 4 presented VND500 million (some US$21,570) to aid disaster-hit people in Vietnam’s central region. |

The money has been channelled through authorities in the Mekong Delta province of Long An, which borders Cambodia’s Svay Rieng and Prey Veng provinces. At the handover ceremony at Long An’s Binh Hiep international gate, Men Sam An extended her sympathy to people in the central region, hoping they and the country would soon overcome their difficulties and losses and stabilise their lives and boost their socio-economic development.
