He also visited the relic site dedicated to female general Nguyen Thi Dinh in Giong Trom District on the occasion of the Wounded and Fallen Soldiers Day (July 27). He expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and reunification. The Party official also visited the family of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Khanh, born in 1931, and the family of war invalid Dinh Thi Dung, born in 1941, who are now living in Chau Thanh District. *On July 19, the Ministry of Public Security held a meeting with Southern security force during the resistance against the US in Tay Ninh Province to mark the 75th founding anniversary of Vietnam People’s Public Security (August 19) and the 15th anniversary of “All People Defend the Fatherland’s Security” movement. The event saw the presence of Minister of Public Security, General To Lam and nearly 500 delegates representing more than 21,000 officials of the Southern security force who participated in the resistance against the US. Addressing the meeting, Minister To Lam expressed his gratitude for the great sacrifice and contributions of the Southern security force, including the thousands of fallen and wounded officials.
